Valentine Beresford
Valentine joined Rankeilour Properties in April 2026 as non-executive Chairman of the UK Warehouse Fund.
Valentine has had an exceptional career in the UK and European real estate industry. He joined Pillar Property Plc at its inception in 1991 and sat on the FTSE 250 board as Investment Director. Pillar was acquired by British Land in 2004 where he joined the Executive Committee. In 2010, Valetine left to co found and IPO Metric Property Plc with colleagues Andrew Jones (CEO) and Mark Stirling. Metric ultimately became LondonMetric Property Plc (LMP) where he sat on the Plc board as Investment Director. He was instrumental in positioning the portfolio into the industrial/distribution sector, which is currently made up of over £4bn of assets. He retired from LondonMetric in March 2026 by which time it was a FTSE 100 REIT with a market cap of £4.75bn and AUM of £7.5bn.
When not working Valentine spends his time between London and Dorset with family and friends.
