Jamie joined Rankeilour Properties as a co-owner of the business in April 2019.

He has a BSc (Hons) degree in Estate Management from the University of Northumbria.  Jamie started his career in London, initially working for Nelson Bakwell as a property manager and upon becoming a qualified surveyor he took the opportunity to work for CBRE as an investment surveyor within CBRE’s National Investment team, where he first met Neil Crombie.

Jamie returned to Scotland in 2008 and has subsequently worked for DTZ as a director within the Capital Markets team before joining Knight Frank in December 2014 as partner within Capital Markets. He has been involved in over £1.5 billion of commercial property transactions across the UK and has latterly focused on the industrial sector where there has been significant opportunity and demand from investors.

Jamie is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS).  Jamie is also a Non-Executive Director of Wemyss Properties and Fundamentum Social Housing REIT.

When not working Jamie enjoys spending time with his wife and two children. He enjoys participating in sporting activities, including keeping fit, golfing and skiing.
